Aluminum Investment Casting for Complex, High-Precision Components
Aluminum Investment Castings with Consistent, Repeatable Performance.
Questions?
What Is Aluminum Investment Casting?
Investment casting is a process used to create highly precise metal parts from a detailed mold. It begins with a wax pattern of your part, which is coated to form a ceramic shell. The wax is then removed and replaced with molten aluminum, resulting in a highly accurate casting.
At Nu-Cast, we utilize a proprietary shell system and generate patterns directly from your CAD data—using hard tooling for production or Quick Cast SLA patterns for prototypes and short-run projects.
The result is a near net shape component that comes out closer to finished, minimizing machining and reducing the time and cost required to complete your part.
Why choose investment casting?
- Complex geometries made possible
- Tight tolerances and consistent accuracy
- Reduced machining and secondary operations
- Faster, more efficient production
